Description
The Mini Huggie Hoop Earrings hug the earlobe closely, so they feel light and secure from morning to evening. They are the pair you can wear every day - to work, to the gym bag and back, and out to dinner - and they are just as good in a second or third piercing.
Each hoop is 12 mm across and 3 mm thick, made in solid 925 sterling silver and finished with a 2.5 micron layer of 18ct yellow gold. A hinged click closure opens and shuts with a small, satisfying click and holds firmly without a separate back to lose. The smooth, rounded profile has no sharp edges to catch on hair or knitwear.

About gold vermeil: gold vermeil is a premium form of gold-plated sterling silver - our vermeil is a 2.5 micron layer of 18ct yellow gold over a solid 925 sterling silver base - a much thicker layer than standard gold plating. With everyday wear the gold layer can soften over time, most quickly where the piece rubs against skin, clothing or other jewellery; the care guide below helps it last.
Care: put your jewellery on last and take it off first - after perfume, lotion and hairspray, and before swimming, bathing, exercising or cleaning. Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth after wearing and store it in the Orevane pouch, away from other pieces, to prevent scratches. Do not use silver dips, abrasive polishes or ultrasonic cleaners on gold vermeil.
Hygiene note: pierced earrings are sent in a sealed bag. For hygiene reasons we can accept change-of-mind returns only while that seal is unbroken. Faulty or incorrect earrings are always covered, and your statutory rights are not affected.

Wipe pieces with a soft dry cloth after wearing and store each one in its Orevane pouch to prevent scratches. Gold vermeil (a 2.5 micron layer of 18ct gold over 925 sterling silver) can soften gradually with everyday wear - never use silver dips, abrasive polishes or ultrasonic cleaners on it. Solid sterling silver naturally darkens over time; a silver polishing cloth brings back the shine. Wipe freshwater pearls with a soft damp cloth and never soak them. Our jewellery contains small parts - keep it away from young children.
